OUSU will be hosting a screening of Miss Representation on Saturday of 1st Week in the Examination Schools.
Miss Representation is a film that explores how the media’s misrepresentations of women have led to the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence. Premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, and aired on OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), this film has led to an important and high profile education campaign in the US and is going global.
