Jesus College Christian Union is a big group of Christians from lots of churches across the city. There’s a lot going on at Jesus so whether you’re a committed Christian or just interested to find out more, we’d love for you to get involved.
We meet as a CU every Tuesday evening from 6pm for a meal together in hall followed by a time of prayer, worship, Bible study and getting to know each other! Your three CU reps for this year are Caragh Bennet, Anna East and Clement Faux. If you’d like to know anything about the CU at Jesus, we’d love to hear from you, especially if you’re a fresher coming up in October.
We also really value our relationship with the Chapel, and often run events together as a collective Christian community in college.
Also going on in the week:
- OICCU Central – Every other Saturday, all the college CU groups come together to share what’s been happening in our colleges and encourage one another in our evangelism! Check out the OICCU website here.
- Prayer Meeting – 5.30pm every Friday in the chapel. Take some time out at the end of the week to lift your prayers to God.
- Chapel – There’s evensong every Sunday at 5.45pm and a communion service at 6.15pm on Thursdays. Come along and enjoy a service in our lovely college Chapel.
- Theologians Anonymous – Join us on Wednesdays for discussion, Bible banter and a free lunch!
