Women’s football at Jesus is a great opportunity to play for a fantastic college team, regardless of previous experience or ability. We have some players who have been playing since they were kids, and some (like me) who only took the sport up at Jesus.

We have weekly training with Omar, the new university football sab officer, and play matches against other colleges most weekends. We had a mixed 2016-17 season, with our skill increasing hugely (who knew training made you better at sport?) but sadly this wasn’t always reflected in our results. Our move into div 3 for the upcoming season should improve our results, and we’re looking forward to our upcoming matches, not least because of our newly developed post-match tea tradition!

We really hope you’ll join us this year, and would love to see you at any of our sessions or matches, no matter your experience! You can always email me () or look out for our posts on the facebook page, and on our facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/334417083425265/)

Meet the team!

Jess Keating, 4th year and former Captain, made these top trump cards of the 2016-17 team. We don’t expect you to cut ’em out and play (I mean feel free…) but hopefully it can serve as a mini-intro to the girls you’ll be playing with!
Due to a technical issue, the cards haven’t been uploaded yet, but watch this space!
